About Intrec

Intrec is a privately owned Australian company, specialising in commercial fitout, building refurbishment and construction management. We deliver projects up to $25 million with the resources and expertise to deliver successful outcomes to our varied and valued client base. Founded in 1996, Intrec has established a reputation for outstanding service, quality and reliability.

Led by Intrec’s original founders Clint Bragg and Thomas Ho, our professional team are highly motivated and committed to delivering projects to the highest standard possible. Our extensive experience includes all aspects of the building process and working under all forms of contract. Our key focus is developing a thorough understanding of the needs of our clients, delivering value and excellence in every aspect of our service. Intrec currently deliver $100million in building projects annually through our Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra offices.

Intrec believes it is our responsibility to promote sustainability within the fitout industry and to demonstrate our commitment to it in our projects. We also take the opportunity to support sustainability in the community whenever we can.

Some of the ways that we incorporate environmental concerns into our core work is to ensure the correct processes are utilised in the disposal of sire waste materials, in noise management and in minimising disruption to occupants of premises across all our projects. We also remove and salvage existing light fittings, carpets, doors, aluminium and other fixtures and fittings, wherever possible, for reuse.

Intrec has the highest commitment to the quality of our projects and the safety of our employees. This is exemplified in our three policies on workplace health and safety, the environment and quality. We’re proud to share them with you as a public demonstration of the standards to which we work.

POLICY STATEMENT

The aim of the WHS policy is to eliminate workplace injuries and accidents.

Intrec is committed to adopting and implementing an effective WHS management system that is integrated with all organisational activities related to Intrec’s products and is compliant with AS/NZS ISO 4801-2001 Workplace Health and Safety Management System – Requirements.

Intrec and its staff have a duty of care to themselves as well as others, including the responsibility to work safely, take all reasonable care for their own health and safety as well as to consider the health, safety and welfare of others in the workplace.

This policy will be communicated to all Intrec workers and will be available at all workplaces.

The aim of the Environmental Policy is to improve Intrec’s environmental performance by conducting our operations in a manner that is environmentally responsible and befitting of a good corporate neighbour and citizen.
Intrec is committed to adopting and implementing an effective Environmental Management System that is integrated with all organisational activities related to Intrec’s products and is compliant with ISO 14001-2004.

Senior Management will manage all activities of the organisation in a manner that minimises the impact of Intrec’s operations on the environment.

Intrec is committed to deliver a professional, consistent, and efficient product to its clients through an integrated quality management system that provides a framework for establishing and reviewing the quality objectives against which the performance of our systems can be measured.

Senior Management will ensure that the quality policy is appropriate for the purpose of the organisation and reviewed for continued suitability.

Intrec has committed staff and resources to comply with applicable requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.

  4. Consult with all relevant stakeholders when reviewing WHS policies and practices to continuously improve health and safety performance;
  5. Provide such information, instruction, training and supervision to staff, contractors and visitors as is necessary to ensure their continued health and safety; and
  6. Provide adequate resources to fully implement its WHS management system.
