Intrec is pleased to announce that it has won the tender to provide a $2.3 Million fitout of new offices for Harper Collins Publishing, at 201 Elizabeth Street Sydney.

One of the largest and most successful publishing groups in the World, Harper Collins was founded in 1989 following the amalgamation of Harper and Row (USA), William Collins (UK) and Angus and Robertson (Aust) publishing companies. Now as a member of the News Corporation stable, the company publishes an ever increasing and wide range of literary works.

The project will involve a total strip of one floor and a two floor refurbishment which will cover 2600 square metres of floor space. Superior quality joinery will be a feature of the project as will sophisticated audio visual equipment and feature ceilings, including metal pan and linear slot. A penetration of the level 13 slab will provide for an inter-connecting staircase with feature glass and steel balustrades.

The project will commence on 1 February 2011 and is expected to take twelve weeks to complete. It will be managed by Colliers International following a design by Roberts Weaver. Intrec staff working on the project will include Clint Bragg (Construction Manager), Stuart King (Assistant Construction Manager) and Peter Nasr (Site Manager).
