Balmain Leagues Club is a long established and well respected sporting and business organization in Sydney’s cultural landscape. During 2009 the Clubfi nalized arrangements for the demolition of its traditional home at VictoriaRoad Rozelle to make way for a new multi-storey and multi-functional building to accommodate its future needs.

Following a search for a suitable “temporary” home to accommodate the Club during this major undertaking, the defunct Sydney Markets Club venue at Homebush West was chosen. Following a rigorous selection process the Club entrusted the fitout of its “new” home to INTREC Management.

The process commenced with a major demolition of the existing Club interior.
Two new external balconies were added, one to the south and one to the west of the building, external awnings, internal staircase, internalescalator, alucabond facades and balustrades.

The interior works included a high end fitout incorporating a new commercial kitchen & coolrooms, restaurant, lounge and dining areas, bathrooms, refurbished bar, administration offices, storage rooms and communications room.
