Logan City Council and INTREC have combined their resources to provide a source of financial assistance to young people in Logan City wishing to undertake tertiary studies for students from families whose own financial resources are limited. One of those lucky students is Melissa Bishop.

Melissa received a $3,000 bursary which is provided as instalments for each semester over three years of her Occupational Therapy course at the University of Queensland.  She has passed the first semester with a GPA of 6.75 out of a possible 7, receiving three sevens (high distinction) and one six (distinction) in her four subjects. Seeing these results shows her hard work and pleases us to say that she’s more than worthy recipient of the Bursary.

Well done and keep up the great work Melissa.
